PA DOH QRS
Monday, July 17th, 2023

We are proud to announce that the South Brownsville Volunteer Fire Company is now a licensed Quick Response Service (QRS) through the PA Department of Health. We join our brothers at Station 5 in acquiring this certification, which supplements the emergency medical services available to residents of Brownsville Borough and Brownsville Township. What does this mean for Brownsville? It means that our residents have TWO QRS Squads and an advanced life-support ambulance service ready to respond, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. Our squad is equipped with an automatic external defibrillator, oxygen, immobilization equipment, bandaging and tourniquets, airway control and oxygen therapy equipment, and much more. A huge THANK YOU to everyone who worked so hard t make this possible.
