Thanks to the generosity of Mr. Brian Flick, the South Brownsville Volunteer Fire Company No. 1, Somerset Trust, and a Brownsville native who wishes to remain anonymous, we a re pleased to announce that the Loyd "Tubby" Flick Memorial Award has grown significantly! We now have a total of $1,000.00, which will enable us to award several gifts to those students who apply, the amount of which will be determined by the award committee. The minimum award will be $250.00. There is still plenty of time to apply, so we encourage all of those Fayette County students who are interested to do so soon! See your guidance counselor for a copy of the rules, eligibility criteria, and entry guidelines, as all Fayette County High Schools as well as the Fayette CTI and the Connellsville Area Career Center have them.
